21st Century C.A.R.E. is a nonprofit charitable foundation dedicated to cancer patients. The organization provides financial assistance, educational programs and screenings, support groups, and cancer research support.

Financial Assistance

21st Century C.A.R.E. provides patients financial assistance for incidental expenses related to cancer treatments. Examples of the assistance provided by 21st Century C.A.R.E. include:

  • Childcare during treatment
  • Cosmetic aides and hygiene products
  • Meals during treatment
  • Medical supplies and equipment
  • Temporary housing for patients living far away from treatment centers

Research

21st Century C.A.R.E. supports cancer research by helping fund research studies in areas of promising new cancer treatments.

Education

Cancer education is crucial to ensure that physicians and other healthcare providers, patients, and the general public are updated on the latest cancer topics. 21st Century C.A.R.E. provides community-based educational programs that feature noted faculty from prestigious institutions.

As part of 21st Century C.A.R.E.’s educational mission, the organization strongly believes in detecting cancer as early as possible to maximize the chance of cure. We therefore provide educational materials and offer free screenings for Head & Neck, colorectal, prostate, and other cancers throughout the year.

The organization also provides support groups for patients and their family members to help them cope with a cancer diagnosis.
