Naples, FL – August 1, 2019 – 21st Century Oncology (21CO), the largest integrated cancer-care network in America, announced that Edward C. Grendys, JR., MD, FACOG, FACS with Florida Gynecologic Oncology will expand the practice with 21st Century Oncology, opening a new office in Naples, FL.
Dr. Grendys is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in the subspecialty of Gynecologic Oncology. These specialists undergo a minimum of three years additional training in all aspects of diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up related to reproductive tract cancers. He has over 25 years of experience in gynecologic oncology including advanced pelvic/abdominal surgery and minimally invasive approaches.
With the opening of a new location, Dr. Grendys will bring personalized cancer care closer to the communities where his patients live and work.

Dr. Grendys earned his medical degree from Northwestern University, Chicago, IL., and fellowship training in Gynecologic Oncology at Georgetown University, Washington, D.C. Prior to joining Florida Gynecologic Oncology, he served as an Associate Professor, University of South Florida, H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida.
