Dr. Parikh has extensive experience in treating all cancers, but has particular interest in treatment of cancers of the head and neck, central nervous system, skin, soft tissue sarcoma, breast and gynecological malignancies. She enjoys working within a multidisciplinary team of highly skilled and professional nurses, therapists, surgeons and medical oncologists.

Dr. Parikh is well-trained in the use of Image-Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT), Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT), Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS), Low Dose Rate (LDR) and High Dose Rate (HDR) Brachytherapy, as well as Accelerated Partial Breast Irradiation (APBI).
Dr. Parikh earned her medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine in Farmington, Connecticut and completed her internship in internal medicine at Yale New Haven University Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut. She went on to complete residency training in radiation oncology at New York Methodist Hospital and Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
