About Dr. Meyer

Dr. Meyer is a fellowship trained Thoracic Surgeon specializing in both minimally invasive and open approach treatments for multiple conditions. Dr. Meyer received his Bachelor Degree in Biology and graduated Valedictorian from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC.   Dr. Meyer continued on to Medical School at Rutgers Medical School in New Brunswick, NJ.  He completed his General Surgery residency at The George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, DC and his Cardiothoracic Surgery Fellowship at The University of Arizona Medical School in Tucson, AZ. Dr. Meyer has published numerous medical papers in well-known publications including: Annals of Thoracic Surgery, International Journal of Medical Robotics and Computer Assisted Surgery, Journal of clinical Pathology, and Innovations. He also presented on many thoracic surgery topics at a variety of national and international conferences. Dr. Meyer will see patients at his Wellington and JFK offices and has privileges at Wellington Regional Medical Center, JFK Medical Center and Palms West Hospital.
